Father Son Founders
Samson House was founded by Ian Streeter and his son, Samson, as a father son team.
For many years, the Streeter family has managed blue chip share portfolios in superannuation. However, their vision extended beyond the share market. They have always believed that quality property should sit alongside quality investments, allowing clients to build more diversified and resilient portfolios.
Ian has over two decades of experience managing money in superannuation and has also worked for two of Australia's largest banks. Since 2011, the Streeter family has managed blue chip share portfolios in superannuation and franchised the company's expertise to other financial planners.
While Ian has spent much of his career managing investment portfolios, his passion has always been property.
Ian's vision was to use his education and experience to help clients buy, sell and manage property with the same discipline, research and strategic thinking that the Streeter family had applied to managing investment portfolios.
Samson grew up in this environment, immersed in both financial and property expertise. From a young age, he was exposed to investing, property development and business, while also developing a strong interest in technology. Having grown up working within the family's businesses, Samson brings a practical understanding of client service, communication and modern business systems as the father son team continues building Samson House together.
Ian holds seven diplomas, including a postgraduate diploma that ranks higher than a degree. As a qualified financial planner, accountant, mortgage broker, and real estate agent, he blends these skills to help clients make property decisions that are well informed.
Ian continues to lead the strategic direction of Samson House while remaining personally involved with clients and the day-to-day operation of the business.

Beyond Real Estate
Outside of business, Ian is an avid reader, public speaker, and lifelong martial artist with a passion for powerlifting, wrestling, and kickboxing. His son, Samson, grew up training with him in wrestling, kickboxing, and jiu-jitsu. Samson has been competing in jiu-jitsu since he was eight years old and has medaled in both mixed martial arts and jiu-jitsu.Ian is also committed to charity and humanitarian work. He has supported feeding programs and provided direct assistance to families living in severely disadvantaged communities, including the slums of Tondo in the Philippines.
Ian ran an outsourcing company in Southeast Asia, and near his office, he discovered a baby crawling through traffic, with cars simply driving around the child, while the mother lay incapacitated in a drug-induced state. Ian picked the baby up from the street and began helping both the mother and child, as well as the community they lived in.
In 2013, Ian jumped off a cliff with a suicidal woman in order to save her life, restraining her from falling further in what could have been a fatal accident. The woman was later airlifted off the cliff by helicopter. In recognition, Ian received a Silver Medal from the Royal Humane Society and a Police Commendation for bravery.
